San Francisco, Calif. MAC, developed by the USPS in partnership with the mailing industry, is available to manifest mailing product developers of software for single-piece rates mail and presorted, non-identical piece mail. It tests personal, midrange, or mainframe computer software. To be MAC-certified, software must, at a minimum, accurately manifest a basic package of specific class and rate categories.
